About Kozea Weasyprint
CVE-2025-68616 affects Kozea Weasyprint, a product from Kozea. Before acting, confirm where Kozea Weasyprint runs in your estate, who owns it and whether it is reachable from the internet, because exposure decides real risk more than the score alone.
What the flaw is
In plain terms: WeasyPrint helps web developers to create PDF documents. Prior to version 68.0, a server-side request forgery (SSRF) protection bypass exists in WeasyPrint's `default_url_fetcher`. The vulnerability allows attackers to access internal network resources (such as `localhost` services or cloud metadata endpoints) even when a developer has implemented a custom `url_fetcher` to block such access. This occurs because the underlying `urllib` library follows HTTP redirects automatically without re-validating the new destination against the developer's security policy. Version 68.0 contains a patch for the issue.
The weakness class is Open Redirect. A trusted link can send users to an attacker site.
Based on its CVSS vector, the flaw can be reached over the network, needs no login, and needs no user interaction. Apply the vendor fix and confirm exposure on internet facing and business critical assets first.

How to detect it
- Inventory every instance of Kozea Weasyprint and record the running version against the affected range above.
- Check external attack surface scans for internet facing instances of the component.
- Review logs on affected systems for unusual requests, errors or new processes around the vulnerable function.
- Confirm with an authenticated vulnerability scan once your scanner has a check for this CVE.
How to fix it
- Apply the fixed version of Kozea Weasyprint named in the vendor advisory.
- If patching must wait, restrict network access to the affected service and put it behind authentication or a web application firewall rule.
- Rescan after the change to prove the exposure is gone, then close the ticket.
CTEM action plan
| CTEM stage | What to do for this CVE |
|---|---|
| Scope | Add every business service that depends on Kozea Weasyprint to the current CTEM cycle. |
| Discover | Find all instances, including shadow and cloud deployments, and record versions and exposure. |
| Prioritize | Rank using EPSS and CVSS together with asset exposure and business impact. |
| Validate | Confirm the flaw is reachable and exploitable in your environment and that compensating controls work. |
| Mobilize | Assign the fix to the asset owner with a due date matched to the priority, then verify closure. |

A vulnerability has been identified in the graphical user interface (GUI) of HPE Aruba Networking Private 5G Core On-Prem that could allow an attacker to abuse an open redirect vulnerability in the login flow using a crafted URL. Successful exploitation may redirect an authenticated user to an attacker-controlled server hosting a spoofed login page prompting the unsuspecting victim to give away their credentials, which could then be captured by the attacker, before being redirected back to the legitimate login page.
Homarr is an open-source dashboard. Prior to 1.57.0, a DOM-based Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability has been discovered in Homarr's /auth/login page. The application improperly trusts a URL parameter (callbackUrl), which is passed to redirect and router.push. An attacker can craft a malicious link that, when opened by an authenticated user, performs a client-side redirect and executes arbitrary JavaScript in the context of their browser. This could lead to credential theft, internal network pivoting, and unauthorized actions performed on behalf of the victim. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.57.0.
hoppscotch is an open source API development ecosystem. Prior to version 2026.3.0, there is an open redirect vulnerability that leads to token exfiltration. With these tokens, the attacker can sign in as the victim to takeover their account. This issue has been patched in version 2026.3.0.
ZITADEL is an open source identity management platform. From version 4.0.0-rc.1 to 4.7.0, a potential vulnerability exists in ZITADEL's password reset mechanism in login V2. ZITADEL utilizes the Forwarded or X-Forwarded-Host header from incoming requests to construct the URL for the password reset confirmation link. This link, containing a secret code, is then emailed to the user. This issue has been patched in version 4.7.1.
