Terms and Conditions
These terms govern your use of LearnCTEM.com, our free CTEM courses, certification examinations and public certificate verification.
Effective date: 26 July 2026
01. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account, taking an examination, or otherwise using LearnCTEM.com, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and to the LearnCTEM Privacy Policy. You cannot register an account unless you actively accept both documents at signup.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not create an account and do not use the examinations or certificates.
02. Eligibility and account registration
You must be at least 16 years old to register. You must provide accurate registration details, including your full name, a working email address and a valid LinkedIn profile URL. A LinkedIn profile URL is mandatory. It is used to establish that certificate holders are real, identifiable professionals.
You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including keeping your password confidential. One person, one account. Shared, automated or duplicate accounts may be suspended without notice.
03. Free access and no guarantees
LearnCTEM content, examinations and certificates are provided free of charge. They are educational resources. They are not professional, legal, regulatory or security advice, and they do not guarantee employment, promotion or any specific outcome.
Content is provided as is. LearnCTEM may add, change, retire or reprice any course, examination or certification level at any time.
04. Examination integrity
Examinations are timed, per-question locked, and monitored for integrity signals such as tab switching, window blur, copy attempts and abnormal answer patterns. You must sit the examination yourself, without assistance, without recording or redistributing questions, and without automated tools.
Attempting to capture, republish, resell or share examination content is a breach of these terms. LearnCTEM may void an attempt, revoke an issued certificate, and suspend or delete an account where integrity rules are broken.
05. Certificates and verification
Every passed examination produces a certificate with a unique certificate ID and a public verification page. Verification pages are intentionally public so that employers and clients can confirm a credential without an account.
A certificate confirms that the named holder passed the stated LearnCTEM examination on the stated date. It is not an accreditation, licence, or statement of practical competence, and it is not issued by, endorsed by, or affiliated with any commercial vendor.
LearnCTEM may revoke a certificate if it was obtained through misrepresentation or a breach of examination integrity. Revoked credentials are shown as revoked on the public verification page.
06. Acceptable use
You may study, quote and reference LearnCTEM material with attribution. You may not scrape the site at scale, mirror it, resell it, use it to train commercial models without permission, or present LearnCTEM material as your own commercial training product.
You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, administrative areas, databases, or any part of the platform infrastructure.
07. Intellectual property
The LearnCTEM name, logo, course content, examination items, certificate designs and site design are owned by LearnCTEM. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
08. Communications
By registering, you agree that LearnCTEM may contact you about your account, examinations, certificates and platform updates, and may send educational and marketing communications by email, by phone, and through LinkedIn. Details of how your data is used and shared, including sharing with third parties for marketing, are set out in the Privacy Policy.
09. Suspension and termination
LearnCTEM may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached, where fraud or examination misconduct is suspected, or where required by law. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LearnCTEM is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of data, or loss arising from decisions made on the basis of educational content on this site.
11. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of LearnCTEM after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent through the LearnCTEM contact form or by replying to any LearnCTEM account email.
Read the Privacy Policy as well. You must accept both before you can register an account.
