About Progress Telerik Ui For Asp.Net Ajax
CVE-2026-6023 affects Progress Telerik Ui For Asp.Net Ajax, a product from Progress. Before acting, confirm where Progress Telerik Ui For Asp.Net Ajax runs in your estate, who owns it and whether it is reachable from the internet, because exposure decides real risk more than the score alone.
What the flaw is
In plain terms: In Progress® Telerik® UI for AJAX versions 2024.4.1114 through 2026.1.421, the RadFilter control is vulnerable to insecure deserialization when restoring filter state if the state is exposed to the client. If an attacker tampers with this state, a server-side remote code execution is possible.
The weakness class is Deserialization of Untrusted Data. The application rebuilds objects from attacker controlled data, which can run code.
Based on its CVSS vector, the flaw can be reached over the network, needs no login, and needs no user interaction. Apply the vendor fix and confirm exposure on internet facing and business critical assets first.
