About Dan-In-Ca Sustainable Irrigation Platform

CVE-2026-58477 affects Dan-In-Ca Sustainable Irrigation Platform, a product from Dan-In-Ca. Before acting, confirm where Dan-In-Ca Sustainable Irrigation Platform runs in your estate, who owns it and whether it is reachable from the internet, because exposure decides real risk more than the score alone.

What the flaw is

In plain terms: Sustainable Irrigation Platform (SIP) through version 5.2.16 contains a mass assignment vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to overwrite sensitive configuration settings by supplying arbitrary parameter names in HTTP requests. Attackers can manipulate parameters corresponding to sensitive values such as the passphrase and listening port, and can also achieve the same result through cross-site request forgery due to the absence of adequate request validation.

Based on its CVSS vector, the flaw can be reached over the network, needs no login, and needs no user interaction. Apply the vendor fix and confirm exposure on internet facing and business critical assets first.

Nyariv Sandboxjs

SandboxJS is a JavaScript sandboxing library. Prior to 0.8.36, SandboxJS blocks direct assignment to global objects (for example Math.random = ...), but this protection can be bypassed through an exposed callable constructor path: this.constructor.call(target, attackerObject). Because this.constructor resolves to the internal SandboxGlobal function and Function.prototype.call is allowed, attacker code can write arbitrary properties into host global objects and persist those mutations across sandbox instances in the same process. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.8.36.

Dfir-Iris Iris

Iris is a web collaborative platform that helps incident responders share technical details during investigations. Prior to 2.4.24, the DFIR-IRIS datastore file management system has a vulnerability where mass assignment of the file_local_name field combined with path trust in the delete operation enables authenticated users to delete arbitrary filesystem paths. The vulnerability manifests through a three-step attack chain: authenticated users upload a file to the datastore, update the file's file_local_name field to point to an arbitrary filesystem path through mass assignment, then trigger the delete operation which removes the target file without path validation. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.4.24.

Locutus

Locutus brings stdlibs of other programming languages to JavaScript for educational purposes. In versions from 2.0.12 to before 2.0.39, a prototype pollution vulnerability exists in locutus. Despite a previous fix that attempted to mitigate prototype pollution by checking whether user input contained a forbidden key, it is still possible to pollute Object.prototype via a crafted input using String.prototype. This issue has been patched in version 2.0.39.

Aptrs

APTRS (Automated Penetration Testing Reporting System) is a Python and Django-based automated reporting tool designed for penetration testers and security organizations. Prior to version 2.0.1, the edit_user endpoint (POST /api/auth/edituser/<pk>) allows Any user who can reach that endpoint and submit crafted permission to escalate their own account (or any other account) to superuser by including "is_superuser": true in the request body. The root cause is that CustomUserSerializer explicitly includes is_superuser in its fields list but omits it from read_only_fields, making it a writable field. The edit_user view performs no additional validation to prevent non-superusers from modifying this field. Once is_superuser is set to true, gaining unrestricted access to all application functionality without requiring re-authentication. This issue has been patched in version 2.0.1.
