About Kidocode Crawl4ai

CVE-2026-53755 affects Kidocode Crawl4ai, a product from Kidocode. Before acting, confirm where Kidocode Crawl4ai runs in your estate, who owns it and whether it is reachable from the internet, because exposure decides real risk more than the score alone.

What the flaw is

In plain terms: Crawl4AI is an open-source LLM friendly web crawler & scraper. Prior to 0.8.9, the Docker API server applied its SSRF destination check to the crawl target URL only, not to the proxy address. An unauthenticated request could supply a proxy pointing at an internal IP and route the browser through it, reaching internal services and cloud-metadata endpoints, while using a perfectly valid crawl URL. The Docker API is unauthenticated by default. /crawl, /crawl/stream, and /crawl/job accept a browser_config (and crawler_config). The following all feed Chromium's egress and were unchecked: browser_config.proxy_config.server, browser_config.proxy (deprecated field), crawler_config.proxy_config.server, and --proxy-server / --proxy-pac-url / --proxy-bypass-list / --host-resolver-rules flags in browser_config.extra_args. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.8.9.

The weakness class is Server Side Request Forgery. The server can be made to send requests to internal or arbitrary systems.

Based on its CVSS vector, the flaw can be reached over the network, needs no login, and needs no user interaction. Apply the vendor fix and confirm exposure on internet facing and business critical assets first.

How to detect it

  • Inventory every instance of Kidocode Crawl4ai and record the running version against the affected range above.
  • Check external attack surface scans for internet facing instances of the component.
  • Review logs on affected systems for unusual requests, errors or new processes around the vulnerable function.
  • Confirm with an authenticated vulnerability scan once your scanner has a check for this CVE.

How to fix it

  • Apply the fixed version of Kidocode Crawl4ai named in the vendor advisory.
  • If patching must wait, restrict network access to the affected service and put it behind authentication or a web application firewall rule.
  • Rescan after the change to prove the exposure is gone, then close the ticket.

CVE-2026-56261
Kidocode Crawl4ai

Crawl4AI before 0.8.7 contains a server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in the Docker API server's /crawl/job and /llm/job endpoints, which accept webhook URLs without destination validation. An attacker can supply webhook URLs pointing to private or internal IP ranges, Docker networks, or cloud metadata endpoints (e.g. 169.254.169.254), causing the server to make requests to internal services and potentially expose cloud metadata.

CVE-2026-53753
Kidocode Crawl4ai

Crawl4AI is an open-source LLM friendly web crawler & scraper. Prior to 0.8.7, the _safe_eval_expression() function in the computed fields feature uses an AST validator that only blocks attributes starting with underscore. Python generator and frame object attributes (gi_frame, f_back, f_builtins) do NOT start with underscore, enabling a complete sandbox escape to achieve arbitrary code execution. The attack requires no authentication (JWT disabled by default) and is triggered via POST /crawl with a crafted extraction schema. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.8.7.

CVE-2026-56266
Kidocode Crawl4ai

Crawl4AI before 0.8.7 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the /crawl, /crawl/stream, /md, and /llm endpoints that fetch arbitrary user-supplied URLs without validation. Unauthenticated attackers can bypass the internal-address blocklist using IPv6-mapped IPv4 addresses to reach internal services and cloud metadata endpoints.

CVE-2026-26217
Kidocode Crawl4ai

Crawl4AI versions prior to 0.8.0 contain a local file inclusion vulnerability in the Docker API deployment. The /execute_js, /screenshot, /pdf, and /html endpoints accept file:// URLs, allowing unauthenticated remote attackers to read arbitrary files from the server filesystem. An attacker can access sensitive files such as /etc/passwd, /etc/shadow, application configuration files, and environment variables via /proc/self/environ, potentially exposing credentials, API keys, and internal application structure.

CVE-2026-34162
Fastgpt

FastGPT is an AI Agent building platform. Prior to version 4.14.9.5, the FastGPT HTTP tools testing endpoint (/api/core/app/httpTools/runTool) is exposed without any authentication. This endpoint acts as a full HTTP proxy — it accepts a user-supplied baseUrl, toolPath, HTTP method, custom headers, and body, then makes a server-side HTTP request and returns the complete response to the caller. This issue has been patched in version 4.14.9.5.

CVE-2026-32871
Jlowin Fastmcp

FastMCP is a Pythonic way to build MCP servers and clients. Prior to version 3.2.0, the OpenAPIProvider in FastMCP exposes internal APIs to MCP clients by parsing OpenAPI specifications. The RequestDirector class is responsible for constructing HTTP requests to the backend service. A vulnerability exists in the _build_url() method. When an OpenAPI operation defines path parameters (e.g., /api/v1/users/{user_id}), the system directly substitutes parameter values into the URL template string without URL-encoding. Subsequently, urllib.parse.urljoin() resolves the final URL. Since urljoin() interprets ../ sequences as directory traversal, an attacker controlling a path parameter can perform path traversal attacks to escape the intended API prefix and access arbitrary backend endpoints. This results in authenticated SSRF, as requests are sent with the authorization headers configured in the MCP provider. This issue has been patched in version 3.2.0.
