About Flowiseai Flowise
CVE-2026-41267 affects Flowiseai Flowise, a product from Flowiseai. Before acting, confirm where Flowiseai Flowise runs in your estate, who owns it and whether it is reachable from the internet, because exposure decides real risk more than the score alone.
What the flaw is
In plain terms: Flowise is a drag & drop user interface to build a customized large language model flow. Prior to 3.1.0, an improper mass assignment (JSON injection) vulnerability in the account registration endpoint of Flowise Cloud allows unauthenticated attackers to inject server-managed fields and nested objects during account creation. This enables client-controlled manipulation of ownership metadata, timestamps, organization association, and role mappings, breaking trust boundaries in a multi-tenant environment. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.1.0.
The weakness class is Insecure Direct Object Reference. Changing an ID in a request exposes another user's data.
Based on its CVSS vector, the flaw can be reached over the network, needs no login, and needs no user interaction. Apply the vendor fix and confirm exposure on internet facing and business critical assets first.

How to detect it
- Inventory every instance of Flowiseai Flowise and record the running version against the affected range above.
- Check external attack surface scans for internet facing instances of the component.
- Review logs on affected systems for unusual requests, errors or new processes around the vulnerable function.
- Confirm with an authenticated vulnerability scan once your scanner has a check for this CVE.
How to fix it
- Apply the fixed version of Flowiseai Flowise named in the vendor advisory.
- If patching must wait, restrict network access to the affected service and put it behind authentication or a web application firewall rule.
- Rescan after the change to prove the exposure is gone, then close the ticket.
CTEM action plan
| CTEM stage | What to do for this CVE |
|---|---|
| Scope | Add every business service that depends on Flowiseai Flowise to the current CTEM cycle. |
| Discover | Find all instances, including shadow and cloud deployments, and record versions and exposure. |
| Prioritize | Rank using EPSS and CVSS together with asset exposure and business impact. |
| Validate | Confirm the flaw is reachable and exploitable in your environment and that compensating controls work. |
| Mobilize | Assign the fix to the asset owner with a due date matched to the priority, then verify closure. |

Flowise before 3.1.3 contains a sandbox escape vulnerability in the vm2 JavaScript sandbox that allows authenticated users to execute arbitrary code by exploiting moment locale validation bypass. Attackers can craft a fake String object with a match function that bypasses path traversal checks to load and execute malicious JavaScript files stored in the document store outside the sandbox.
Flowise versions before 3.1.3 contain a remote code execution vulnerability in the Custom MCP node when CUSTOM_MCP_PROTOCOL is set to stdio, allowing authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands by manipulating environment variables and command arguments. Attackers can abuse PYTHONWARNINGS and BROWSER environment variables with python3, or leverage the root working directory with node to bypass validation and execute system commands.
Flowise before 3.1.3 contains a regex-based Python code validator bypass in CSV and Airtable Agent nodes that allows unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious code via prompt injection. Attackers can exploit unblocked pandas functions like pd.read_json() to exfiltrate datasets, perform SSRF against internal services, or achieve code execution through the unauthenticated prediction API.
Flowise before 3.1.3 contains a code injection vulnerability in the CSV Agent node's customReadCSV parameter that allows authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary Python code. The validator uses a static regex blocklist that can be bypassed through obfuscation techniques, enabling attackers to execute code in the unsandboxed pyodide environment with full system access.
Flowise before 3.1.3 contains a code injection vulnerability in the Airtable Agent node that allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary Python code by bypassing the pythonCodeValidator blocklist through obfuscation techniques. Attackers can send crafted prompts to a chatflow using the Airtable Agent node to inject malicious Python code that executes in an unsandboxed pyodide environment with full access to the host operating system.
Flowise before 3.1.3 contains a sandbox escape vulnerability in pythonCodeValidator.ts that fails to block native Pandas DataFrame methods like to_csv, to_json, pipe, and query. Authenticated attackers can exploit this to exfiltrate uploaded CSV data or write arbitrary files to the server filesystem.
