About Tp-Link Tapo L535e Firmware

CVE-2026-34126 affects Tp-Link Tapo L535e Firmware, a product from Tp-Link. Before acting, confirm where Tp-Link Tapo L535e Firmware runs in your estate, who owns it and whether it is reachable from the internet, because exposure decides real risk more than the score alone.

What the flaw is

In plain terms: TP-Link has identified a vulnerability in Tapo L535E v1.0 and v3.0, Tapo P300 v1.0, and Tapo D100C v1.0, where Bluetooth communication during the initial setup phase is transmitted in cleartext without encryption. Bluetooth is only used during initialization. An attacker within the Bluetooth range could exploit this behavior using Bluetooth sniffing or man-in-the-middle techniques, which may allow eavesdropping on Bluetooth communication, manipulate transmitted setup data and potentially gain unauthorized control of the device during initialization.  An attacker within the Bluetooth range could exploit this behavior using Bluetooth sniffing or man-in-the-middle techniques, which may allow eavesdropping on Bluetooth communication, manipulate transmitted setup data and potentially gain unauthorized control of the device during initialization. D100C is the chime delivered with your Tapo camera, and it is delivered with the following Tapo products: D130, D210, D235, D225, TD21, TDB21 and TD25

Based on its CVSS vector, the flaw needs local or adjacent access, needs no login, and relies on a user taking an action. Apply the vendor fix and confirm exposure on internet facing and business critical assets first.

How to detect it

  • Inventory every instance of Tp-Link Tapo L535e Firmware and record the running version against the affected range above.
  • Check external attack surface scans for internet facing instances of the component.
  • Review logs on affected systems for unusual requests, errors or new processes around the vulnerable function.
  • Confirm with an authenticated vulnerability scan once your scanner has a check for this CVE.

How to fix it

  • Apply the fixed version of Tp-Link Tapo L535e Firmware named in the vendor advisory.
  • If patching must wait, restrict network access to the affected service and put it behind authentication or a web application firewall rule.
  • Rescan after the change to prove the exposure is gone, then close the ticket.

Tp-Link Er7212pc Firmware

A pre-authentication OS command injection vulnerability has been identified in Omada gateways configured to operate as an OpenVPN Server due to insufficient validation of client-supplied data during OpenVPN connection establishment. An unauthenticated remote attacker may provide specially crafted input influencing backend command execution logic before authentication completes. Exploitation requires the OpenVPN Server feature to be enabled, VPN service reachable by the attacker and attacker to be able to initiate an OpenVPN connection attempt.  Successful exploitation may allow arbitrary command execution, potentially leading to full compromise of the affected device.

An unauthenticated denial-of-service vulnerability was identified in TP-Link TL-MR100 v3.2, TL-MR150 v3.2, TL-MR6400 v8.0 and Archer MR600 v2, due to improper handling of exceptional request conditions that may lead to a NULL pointer dereference.  A remote attacker on an adjacent network can send a specially crated HTTP request to trigger a crash of the HTTP service process. Successful exploitation may cause the HTTP service to crash, making the web management interface and HTTP-dependent functionality temporarily unavailable.

Tp-Link Tapo C120 Firmware

Tapo C120 v1 and C200 v5 contain an improper authentication vulnerability within the login authentication verification module. An attacker on the local network can exploit weaknesses in challenge parameter validation to bypass normal authentication controls and obtain administrative session tokens. Successful exploitation may allow an attacker to subsequently execute privileged management actions, enable unauthorized administrative access and temporary disruption of device services, resulting in a denial-of-service (DoS) condition.
