About Product not identified in source
CVE-2026-33521 affects Product not identified in source. Before acting, confirm where Product not identified in source runs in your estate, who owns it and whether it is reachable from the internet, because exposure decides real risk more than the score alone.
What the flaw is
In plain terms: There is s denial of service vulnerability in Esri ArcGIS Server versions 12.0 and prior that may allow a remote, unauthenticated attacker to supply crafted requests that may, under exceptional circumstances, consume all available worker threads and deny service to users. A patch is provided for ArcGIS Server software in General Availability and Extended support status, which includes versions 12.0, 11.5, 11.3, and 11.1. Other versions are in mature or retired status, which are not patch eligible. Users working with unlisted versions are advised to upgrade and apply the patch.
The weakness class is Uncontrolled Resource Consumption. An attacker can exhaust CPU, memory or connections.
Based on its CVSS vector, the flaw can be reached over the network, needs no login, and needs no user interaction. Apply the vendor fix and confirm exposure on internet facing and business critical assets first.

How to detect it
- Inventory every instance of Product not identified in source and record the running version against the affected range above.
- Check external attack surface scans for internet facing instances of the component.
- Review logs on affected systems for unusual requests, errors or new processes around the vulnerable function.
- Confirm with an authenticated vulnerability scan once your scanner has a check for this CVE.
How to fix it
- Apply the fixed version of Product not identified in source named in the vendor advisory.
- If patching must wait, restrict network access to the affected service and put it behind authentication or a web application firewall rule.
- Rescan after the change to prove the exposure is gone, then close the ticket.
CTEM action plan
| CTEM stage | What to do for this CVE |
|---|---|
| Scope | Add every business service that depends on Product not identified in source to the current CTEM cycle. |
| Discover | Find all instances, including shadow and cloud deployments, and record versions and exposure. |
| Prioritize | Rank using EPSS and CVSS together with asset exposure and business impact. |
| Validate | Confirm the flaw is reachable and exploitable in your environment and that compensating controls work. |
| Mobilize | Assign the fix to the asset owner with a due date matched to the priority, then verify closure. |

TOTOLINK X5000R v9.1.0cu_2415_B20250515 contains an argument injection vulnerability in the setDiagnosisCfg handler of the /usr/sbin/lighttpd executable. The ip parameter is retrieved via websGetVar and passed to a ping command through CsteSystem without validating if the input starts with a hyphen (-). This allows remote authenticated attackers to inject arbitrary command-line options into the ping utility, potentially leading to a Denial of Service (DoS) by causing excessive resource consumption or prolonged execution.
In multiple functions of MmsProvider.java, there is a possible way to arbitrarily delete files which affect telephony, SMS, and MMS functionalities due to a path traversal error. This could lead to local denial of service with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
