About Doobidoo Mcp-Memory-Service

CVE-2026-33010 affects Doobidoo Mcp-Memory-Service, a product from Doobidoo. Before acting, confirm where Doobidoo Mcp-Memory-Service runs in your estate, who owns it and whether it is reachable from the internet, because exposure decides real risk more than the score alone.

What the flaw is

In plain terms: mcp-memory-service is an open-source memory backend for multi-agent systems. Prior to version 10.25.1, when the HTTP server is enabled (MCP_HTTP_ENABLED=true), the application configures FastAPI's CORSMiddleware with allow_origins=['*'], allow_credentials=True, allow_methods=["*"], and allow_headers=["*"]. The wildcard Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * header permits any website to read API responses cross-origin. When combined with anonymous access (MCP_ALLOW_ANONYMOUS_ACCESS=true) - the simplest way to get the HTTP dashboard working without OAuth - no credentials are needed, so any malicious website can silently read, modify, and delete all stored memories. This issue has been patched in version 10.25.1.

Based on its CVSS vector, the flaw can be reached over the network, needs no login, and relies on a user taking an action. Apply the vendor fix and confirm exposure on internet facing and business critical assets first.

How to detect it

  • Inventory every instance of Doobidoo Mcp-Memory-Service and record the running version against the affected range above.
  • Check external attack surface scans for internet facing instances of the component.
  • Review logs on affected systems for unusual requests, errors or new processes around the vulnerable function.
  • Confirm with an authenticated vulnerability scan once your scanner has a check for this CVE.

How to fix it

  • Apply the fixed version of Doobidoo Mcp-Memory-Service named in the vendor advisory.
  • If patching must wait, restrict network access to the affected service and put it behind authentication or a web application firewall rule.
  • Rescan after the change to prove the exposure is gone, then close the ticket.

Getqui Qui

qui is a web interface for managing qBittorrent instances. Versions 1.14.1 and below use a permissive CORS policy that reflects arbitrary origins while also returning Access-Control-Allow-Credentials: true, effectively allowing any external webpage to make authenticated requests on behalf of a logged-in user. An attacker can exploit this by tricking a victim into loading a malicious webpage, which silently interacts with the application using the victim's session and potentially exfiltrating sensitive data such as API keys and account credentials, or even achieving full system compromise through the built-in External Programs manager. Exploitation requires that the victim access the application via a non-localhost hostname and load an attacker-controlled webpage, making highly targeted social-engineering attacks the most likely real-world scenario. This issue was not fixed at the time of publication.

Nhost Cli

Nhost is an open source Firebase alternative with GraphQL. Prior to version 1.41.0, The Nhost CLI MCP server, when explicitly configured to listen on a network port, applies no inbound authentication and does not enforce strict CORS. This allows a malicious website visited on the same machine to issue cross-origin requests to the MCP server and invoke privileged tools using the developer's locally configured credentials. This vulnerability requires two explicit, non-default configuration steps to be exploitable. The default nhost mcp start configuration is not affected. This issue has been patched in version 1.41.0.

Mintplexlabs Anythingllm

AnythingLLM is an application that turns pieces of content into context that any LLM can use as references during chatting. In 1.11.1 and earlier, On default installations where no password or API key has been configured, all HTTP endpoints and the agent WebSocket lack authentication, and the server's CORS policy accepts any origin. AnythingLLM Desktop binds to 127.0.0.1 (loopback) by default. Modern browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox) implement Private Network Access (PNA). This explicitly blocks public websites from making requests to local IP addresses. Exploitation is only viable from within the same local network (LAN) due to browser-level blocking of public-to-private requests.
