About Prasklatechnology Placipy

CVE-2026-25753 affects Prasklatechnology Placipy, a product from Prasklatechnology. Before acting, confirm where Prasklatechnology Placipy runs in your estate, who owns it and whether it is reachable from the internet, because exposure decides real risk more than the score alone.

What the flaw is

In plain terms: PlaciPy is a placement management system designed for educational institutions. In version 1.0.0, the application uses a hard-coded, static default password for all newly created student accounts. This results in mass account takeover, allowing any attacker to log in as any student once the password is known.

Based on its CVSS vector, the flaw can be reached over the network, needs no login, and needs no user interaction. Apply the vendor fix and confirm exposure on internet facing and business critical assets first.
