About Tencent Weknora
CVE-2026-22688 affects Tencent Weknora, a product from Tencent. Before acting, confirm where Tencent Weknora runs in your estate, who owns it and whether it is reachable from the internet, because exposure decides real risk more than the score alone.
What the flaw is
In plain terms: WeKnora is an LLM-powered framework designed for deep document understanding and semantic retrieval. Prior to version 0.2.5, there is a command injection vulnerability that allows authenticated users to inject stdio_config.command/args into MCP stdio settings, causing the server to execute subprocesses using these injected values. This issue has been patched in version 0.2.5.
The weakness class is Command Injection. Untrusted input ends up inside a system command.
Based on its CVSS vector, the flaw can be reached over the network, needs some level of access, and needs no user interaction. Apply the vendor fix and confirm exposure on internet facing and business critical assets first.

How to detect it
- Inventory every instance of Tencent Weknora and record the running version against the affected range above.
- Check external attack surface scans for internet facing instances of the component.
- Review logs on affected systems for unusual requests, errors or new processes around the vulnerable function.
- Confirm with an authenticated vulnerability scan once your scanner has a check for this CVE.
How to fix it
- Apply the fixed version of Tencent Weknora named in the vendor advisory.
- If patching must wait, restrict network access to the affected service and put it behind authentication or a web application firewall rule.
- Rescan after the change to prove the exposure is gone, then close the ticket.
CTEM action plan
| CTEM stage | What to do for this CVE |
|---|---|
| Scope | Add every business service that depends on Tencent Weknora to the current CTEM cycle. |
| Discover | Find all instances, including shadow and cloud deployments, and record versions and exposure. |
| Prioritize | Rank using EPSS and CVSS together with asset exposure and business impact. |
| Validate | Confirm the flaw is reachable and exploitable in your environment and that compensating controls work. |
| Mobilize | Assign the fix to the asset owner with a due date matched to the priority, then verify closure. |

WeKnora is an LLM-powered framework designed for deep document understanding and semantic retrieval. From version 0.2.5 to before version 0.2.10, an unauthenticated remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability exists in the MCP stdio configuration validation. The application allows unrestricted user registration, meaning any attacker can create an account and exploit the command injection flaw. Despite implementing a whitelist for allowed commands (npx, uvx) and blacklists for dangerous arguments and environment variables, the validation can be bypassed using the -p flag with npx node. This allows any attacker to execute arbitrary commands with the application's privileges, leading to complete system compromise. This issue has been patched in version 0.2.10.
WeKnora is an LLM-powered framework designed for deep document understanding and semantic retrieval. Prior to version 0.2.12, a remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability exists in the application's database query functionality. The validation system fails to recursively inspect child nodes within PostgreSQL array expressions and row expressions, allowing attackers to bypass SQL injection protections. By smuggling dangerous PostgreSQL functions inside these expressions and chaining them with large object operations and library loading capabilities, an unauthenticated attacker can achieve arbitrary code execution on the database server with database user privileges. This issue has been patched in version 0.2.12.
A command injection vulnerability exists in MLflow's model serving container initialization code, specifically in the `_install_model_dependencies_to_env()` function. When deploying a model with `env_manager=LOCAL`, MLflow reads dependency specifications from the model artifact's `python_env.yaml` file and directly interpolates them into a shell command without sanitization. This allows an attacker to supply a malicious model artifact and achieve arbitrary command execution on systems that deploy the model. The vulnerability affects versions 3.8.0 and is fixed in version 3.8.2.
Crafted MQTT messages can trigger command injection, resulting in root-level code execution on the target device.
This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying system using the file name of an uploaded file.
This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers to execute commands via the hostname of the device.
