About vLLM from

CVE-2026-116180 affects vLLM from. Before acting, confirm where vLLM from runs in your estate, who owns it and whether it is reachable from the internet, because exposure decides real risk more than the score alone.

What the flaw is

In plain terms: vLLM from 0.8.5 before 0.31.0 has a denial of service flaw. LogprobsTensors.empty_cpu() in vllm/v1/outputs.py allocates an uninitialized int32 tensor, and the V1 model runner leaves prompt positions reported as computed by a KV connector unwritten. A client sharing the engine can send prompt_logprobs (or echo with logprobs) against a connector-cached prefix, making tokenizer decode raise OverflowError, which crashes EngineCore and drops all co-tenant requests.

Based on its CVSS vector, the flaw can be reached over the network, needs some level of access, and needs no user interaction. Apply the vendor fix and confirm exposure on internet facing and business critical assets first.

How to detect it

  • Inventory every instance of vLLM from and record the running version against the affected range above.
  • Check external attack surface scans for internet facing instances of the component.
  • Review logs on affected systems for unusual requests, errors or new processes around the vulnerable function.
  • Confirm with an authenticated vulnerability scan once your scanner has a check for this CVE.

How to fix it

  • Apply the fixed version of vLLM from named in the vendor advisory.
  • If patching must wait, restrict network access to the affected service and put it behind authentication or a web application firewall rule.
  • Rescan after the change to prove the exposure is gone, then close the ticket.

CVE-2026-60005
F5 Nginx Gateway Fabric

NGINX Plus and NGINX Open Source have a vulnerability in the ngx_http_slice_module module. When the slice directive and unnamed regex captures are configured or when a background cache update happens, unauthenticated attackers can send requests that may cause uninitialized memory access in the NGINX worker process, leading to limited disclosure of memory or a restart. Impact: This vulnerability may allow remote, unauthenticated attackers to have limited control to disclose memory contents or restart the NGINX worker process. There is no control plane exposure; this is a data plane issue only. Note: The ngx_http_slice_module module is not enabled by default; it's enabled with the --with-http_slice_module configuration parameter. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated.

This occurs under default settings; simply reading a malicious EXR file is sufficient to trigger the issue, without any user interaction. This issue has been patched in version 3.4.8.
