About Juniper Apstra

CVE-2025-13914 affects Juniper Apstra, a product from Juniper. Before acting, confirm where Juniper Apstra runs in your estate, who owns it and whether it is reachable from the internet, because exposure decides real risk more than the score alone.

What the flaw is

In plain terms: A Key Exchange without Entity Authentication vulnerability in the SSH implementation of Juniper Networks Apstra allows a unauthenticated, MITM attacker to impersonate managed devices. Due to insufficient SSH host key validation an attacker can perform a machine-in-the-middle attack on the SSH connections from Apstra to managed devices, enabling an attacker to impersonate a managed device and capture user credentials. This issue affects all versions of Apstra before 6.1.1.

Based on its CVSS vector, the flaw can be reached over the network, needs no login, and needs no user interaction. Apply the vendor fix and confirm exposure on internet facing and business critical assets first.

How to detect it

  • Inventory every instance of Juniper Apstra and record the running version against the affected range above.
  • Check external attack surface scans for internet facing instances of the component.
  • Review logs on affected systems for unusual requests, errors or new processes around the vulnerable function.
  • Confirm with an authenticated vulnerability scan once your scanner has a check for this CVE.

How to fix it

  • Apply the fixed version of Juniper Apstra named in the vendor advisory.
  • If patching must wait, restrict network access to the affected service and put it behind authentication or a web application firewall rule.
  • Rescan after the change to prove the exposure is gone, then close the ticket.

Juniper Ctp Operating System

A Weak Password Requirements vulnerability in the password management function of Juniper Networks CTP OS might allow an unauthenticated, network-based attacker to exploit weak passwords of local accounts and potentially take full control of the device. The password management menu enables the administrator to set password complexity requirements, but these settings are not saved. The issue can be verified with the menu option "Show password requirements". Failure to enforce the intended requirements can lead to weak passwords being used, which significantly increases the likelihood that an attacker can guess these and subsequently attain unauthorized access. This issue affects CTP OS versions 9.2R1 and 9.2R2.

CVE-2026-1709
Redhat Enterprise Linux

A flaw was found in Keylime. The Keylime registrar, since version 7.12.0, does not enforce client-side Transport Layer Security (TLS) authentication. This authentication bypass vulnerability allows unauthenticated clients with network access to perform administrative operations, including listing agents, retrieving public Trusted Platform Module (TPM) data, and deleting agents, by connecting without presenting a client certificate.

CVE-2026-58065
Apache-Airflow-Providers-Git

The Apache Airflow Git provider runs its git-over-SSH operations with `StrictHostKeyChecking=no` by default, disabling SSH host-key verification. An attacker who can intercept the network path between an Airflow worker and the Git server can impersonate the server (man-in-the-middle), capturing the SSH deploy key or injecting malicious repository content. Deployments that use the Git DAG bundle or Git provider to clone over SSH with a deploy key are affected. The fix changes the default to verify host keys; upgrade to apache-airflow-providers-git `0.4.1` or later and configure a `known_hosts` file.
